Charge controller is not registering correct

Post by jainsw »

I have two charge controllers and my battery bank is showing only 78%, but the FM60 controller is showing float and the FM80 is showing charging. Any ideas of what is the issue?

Assuming the two arrays are functioning normally, and the charge parameters set the same, the most likely issue is calibration (or lack thereof).

Whenever I see this issue on the forum I always remember the Mate3s has a float coordination function, which should be almost as important in resolving it as calibration is.

Trying to remember how to reset the SoC on my system as I shut it down this am when it was at 54% and upon turning everything back on the SoC is at 100%. How to reset the SoC?

Answered in the other post. In a word, the FNDC SoC can't be adjusted. The battery must now be fully charged to sync with the meter reading.

Ok so if I leave everything plugged in will it reset without me here for two weeks?

It doesn't reset, so much as sync with the true battery status once it's fully charged.
