Re: locked out
What is "it"?
FlexMax charge controllers?
Are you saying the charge controller(s) won't navigate to the menu when the appropriate front panel button is pressed?

Re: locked out
Just going on probabilities here, but probably the button arrays have failed (due to age, corrosion, etc.) If so, there's 4 possible solutions:
• Purchase replacement button boards and install them. https://www.zonnaenergy.com/parts/spare ... fm60-fm80/ Of course, there may be other issues with the controllers.
• Purchase a Mate (the Mate2 would do) and program the controllers via the Mate.
• Send them to a service depot for repair. This may be nearly as expensive as purchasing a new FM80
• Purchase new FM80 charge controllers. After 14 years, you can say you got your money's worth out of them. The FMs are rugged, but don't last forever. After that amount of time I'd be concerned power capacitors and other parts are approaching end of life. I'd be a bit concerned about hooking up charge controllers in their old age to a new, and very expensive, lithium battery. Certain failures could destroy lithium cells in the blink of an eye.

Re: locked out
I had the same issue with my FM60.
Opened it up and connected some inexpensive push buttons.
problem solved! FM60 rocks on!
