I believe the Mojave requires separate solar panel inverters...am I wrong on this?
If I am not wrong on this, I am hoping Outback is coming out with a new solar off-grid / hybrid inverter to replace the Radian series...any info on a new Outback radian replacement inverter would be awesome!

Other than this announcement, I've seen or heard of nothing new from Outback.

My understanding is that the Mojave is a grid interactive inverter that integrates with a ESS (Energy Storage System) otherwise called a battery. They appear to be filling the niche in the market required by NEC 2020 that required ESSs to be UL listed. That is a niche that the Tesla Powerwall has dominated and has been unable to fill demand.
Nothing that I have seen says the Mojave will require separate solar panel inverters. If it is anything like the Skybox it can integrate well with exisiting GT grid dependent inverters. Therefore it will be a logical upgrade to a lot of existing GT inverter owners who want power when the grid is down and want a way to leverage batteries to have a workaround for the erosion of NEM benefits that has alraeady happened and is sure to continue.
I do not think the Mojave will replace the Radian. The Radian is a fairly robust system that works very well off grid and has some grid interactive features. What additional features do you want that the Radian does not have?
Use my Skybox in Self Consumption mode to reduce my energy costs, including to charge two EVs.
