temp sensor fault

Post by Aore Adventures »

gday guys started to get the attached fault on #4 inverter over the weekend while charging from our genset, we have had very little sun the last 3 weeks.

it seems to clear and still function normally , but you can see that optics loses the temp read out on the transformer then reappears.

i have issues with this inverter before having to change two sets of cards the quas stack was commissioned approx September 2020

ideas appreciated cheers

The internal temperature sensor is mounted to the bottom of the transformer frame (with hi temp silicon glue, I think.)
It's this part: https://www.zonnaenergy.com/parts/outba ... mp-sensor/

The alerts and disappearing temperature reading sounds like the sensor may be intermittent, or the connection on the control board (?) is loose or corroded.

i have contacted my supplier to see what they will do to fix the issue as it should be still under the 5yr warranty period.
