My RE system: 5000 watts mixed solar panels wired for 48v feeding 500 amp outback agm batteries. Rosie inverter, mate3s, flex net dc, 1 midnight controllers, 1 outback. 3kw base load. Dump loads, phev Rav 4, 2 minisplits.

Blew out my flexnet DC and hub. Can I temporarily hook my Outback charge controller to my Mate 3s?

The FlexMax can be connected directly to the Mate using the Outback network port on each device, and a cable used to connect to the Hub.

The FlexMax operates autonomously, however, and doesn't need to be connected to the Mate to function properly.
