Technical/Service Provider List?

I have a 9 year old Outback 8048 system. I am closing on my home this week and I wanted to "find" an Outback Solar service provider to the new buyer as he has limited technical skills. Are there any referrals for the Indianapolis area?
The system has been pretty bulletoroof .. Exce p t when the Mate3 died ( replaced under warranty) and a power supply card died last year. I designed/installed the system but I am selling and not be available.
Any businesses that have Outback experience out there?

I wish you good luck in finding a servicing vendor. If its like our area, and most areas I suspect, companies only service what they install. The general reasoning is having no input into the design and installation, vendors have no control over what they would be getting into. Also, service calls tend to require their highest-cost, and most contrained, engineering resources, rather than the typical installers put out into the field. A local company told me the average "out of service" call can impact up to 10 concurrent installation projects when their engineering resources are tied up. They end up having to charge "an arm and a leg" to deliver service that may not even be up to their standards due to constraints in the original installation.

I'm not implying the concern is applicable to your system, but most companies don't want to spend the time and resources to find out when they have commitments to deliver via their standard business model.

If not done so already, document the system as best you can. Suggest the new owners join this forum.

Thanks. I found a local company that said they would. I've moved to Florida and just had a microinvrrter system turned on today..but I sure would like to wire in a mojave to use as battery backup.
