Shot in the dark:
My MATE failed yesterday. Replacement is on the way. But until then, is it possible to control AGS settings without the MATE? I thought maybe the CAT5 wire could plug into a PC, and maybe there is a software that would allow control of settings, sans the MATE.
Thank you

Re: MATE control from PC?
Unfortunately, no. The CAT5 cable is simply used to transmit proprietary signals between the MATE and the devices.
There are other Outback devices that could take the MATE's place (MATE3, AXS Port, etc.), and good software that can monitor and control your system through the MATE or other device, but something has to be there to do the translation.
