Battery Voltage Dump

Post by Dnnap »

Something strange started happening this weekend. Yesterday during a low 40w load draw while in float stage the battery voltage dumped from 53.3v down to 51.3v. The SOC was 100% and the battery BMS voltage reading was 53.8v, which usually sits 0.5v above the flexnet reading.
I was forced to shut the system down for the night and after I checked all connections I turned the system back on today and noon (12:06pm).
With no loads on the system other than the stand by of 10w and with the inverter off the system went through the bulk and absorb stage and entered into float charge. After about 2h 49m in float the voltage dump occurred again. This time it went from 53.4v to 51.8v while the BMS was reading 53.8v. At this point I reset the battery breaker and the voltage went back up to 53.3v.

Again at 9:06pm the voltage dump occurred. Below are the event logs reported by Optics RE.
This time the system was sleeping and the inverter was off.
