SunSpec model of AXS port

We are doing some research about linking IEEE 2030.5 attributes to SunSpec registers in order to control the inverter function. Therefore, we are interested in finding out what does the SunSpec model that is AXS port is currently using? The reason that we need to know the SunSpec model applied to the AXS port is to make sure we can correctly read the registers' status from the AXS port. The AXS port firmware version is the most recent one and the SunSpec model we are using is from the website: https://github.com/sunspec/models/tags.

I have these documents. The SunSpec models inside of the AXS port I'm using only contain DID:1 (SunSpec Common Block) and DID:64110 (Outback block). I remember that all other blocks such as DID:123 (immediate control block) should always be contained in the AXS port, but now they are missing. Do you how can I find these blocks?

Sorry, I don't know the details of the SunSpec implementation.

Dear Raysun

Do you know which technical group I should contact to talk about the SunSpec implementation? Appreciated.

I'm not sure how OB engineering is organized these days. I'd contact the sales department. They are pretty responsive to questions from the field.

Another avenue, though admittedly indirect, would be to "reverse engineer" the WATTPLOT software. Andrew no longer actively supports it, but it has the most extensive 3rd party "command and control" of the OB SunSpec library, and is license-free.

Copy that. Thank you Raysun. By the way, could you post a link to the Outback Modbus Interface Device Client Software for me? It is mentioned in the manual here:( https://www.outbackpower.com/downloads/ ... p_note.pdf), but I didn't find it on the official website. Appriciated.

I looked for the client software too, but couldn't find it.

Maybe the sales folks can scare it up.

Do you mean I need to contact the sales, right?

Yes. I've had good luck with getting information from the sales people.

No. On other matters, I've had them respond.

Hello Raysun

Could you give me the contact info of the OB engineer or the OB engineering team? I really need to know about the SunSpec info of the AXS port.

The folks I used to know to contact have moved on. The company reorganization seems to have moved the engineering staff to different locations and organizations.

Sorry, I don't have any current information.

Hello Raysun

Do you have the email addresses of the folks you know before? I can send an email to them to see if that works. I'm so sorry to disturb you many times, but I really have no choice.

They are no longer with the company, so their old email addresses would not be useful.

This link has the current corporate contacts:

Perhaps the Applications Engineering or Technology managers can be of help.
