I have worked in IT for over 20 years, I feel like someone that called in because the computer isn't working only to find out it wasn't plugged in..

I think I might go with old age on this one, I heard when I turned 50 it was all going downhill after that.

You can take comfort in the fact you were not on the team of system engineers puzzling over the *2nd* 200k$ computer PSU failure, only to have the janitor point out they connected it to an incompatible electric receptacle.
