Generator won't stop running, batteries at target V

Mate3s
3 8048
3 Blue Planet 16 kWh
1 Generac 30 kW genset

1. Each inverter is set to Absorb- 55.2 V for .1 hours
2. AGS on Mate is set to Absorb 55.2 V for .1 hours

55.2 volts is reached by outback and egauge reporting, charging stops (also by charge controllers with same set points) but genset sometimes stops after 30 minutes (too long) or goes for hours, supporting demand and not charging anything with the batteries sitting fully charged at 55.2 V. Using all the propane in an inaccessible location months before a service truck can get in would not make my client happy. Any advice appreciated, please note site is not (easily) accessible and all changes must be made remotely until May.

Welcome. Sorry I missed your post, I took off for the holidays.

The Mate3 and Mate3s have the above AGS function but it is only for a DC generator and has no affect on your 30kW Generac. Info is detailed on p.27 of the Mate3s print programming guide. Manual is a little bit dated as Generator Type is now selected at the top of the page as AC Generator or DC Generator.

AGS start options for AC generators are:
1) Voltage start, with various voltage settings and times at those voltages.
2) Load start kW and stop kW with delays for each
3) SOC start and SOC stop. As you reference an egauge, you may not have a FNDC which is required for this function.

On p.33 of same manual the "Stop Reasons" are detailed for each "Start Reason." If you don't have a FNDC on the system the only "Stop Reasons" are:
1) Inverter in Float or Silent
2) Quiet time
3) Manual stop
4) High Batt Voltage

It appears that the inverter is not going into Float after charge parameters are met. Something to look at is your Float Voltage. The OB app note for Blue Ion has the absorb and float voltages for the inverter at 55.2V

The OB app note for Blue Ion has the CC absorb voltage at 55.6V.

I have one off-grid FlexPower 2 system that is setup for voltage start and SOC start. When it does a SOC start it does not shutoff as programmed at 85%, which OB and I have yet to figure out. I get an alert when their gen starts and monitor it to make sure it shuts off. After the addition of 6kW panels their generator has only had a SOC start twice in 7 months, both times due to smoke from forest fires.

What screen do you access to set the "high battery" voltage to turn off the generator with the AGS? Thank you.
