What to do with the data....

Post by aarman4 »

Hi there,

I have my SD card logging data from my mate3s, going back years now, and I accessed it today on an excel sheet and only see a bunch of numbers and dates etc.

Is there an actual template or anything out there(aside from attempting to do the OPTICSre thing) that can use that data for me to observe?

Cheers!

I've not pursued it, but IMO, the best shot at making sense of the Mate's logged data is to use Andrew Welch's WattPlot tools. SumMate might be the specific app to explore.

The downside is Andrew curtailed full support a couple of years ago. The upside is he made them all available license-free. The uber-upside is the suite of tools is quite excellent and Andrew put a lot of intelligence into them.

Google WattPlot for links.

Didn't the .csv have any header info?
Information, you get not; if incorrect question, you ask..

I will check the next time I pull the SD card... I am not as techy as I want to be, so it very well might have one.

Cheers!
