A place to post images of your OutBack Power System

Post by Mike Curran »

While searching this forum ("My OutBack Power System") for an old post of mine showing my battery box heating system, I noticed a plethora (aways liked that word) of posts that had nothing to do with people's system images. Now I realize that with this post, I'm guilty as well, but I'm po'd cuz it took me awhile to find my post because of said plethora.

Venting, but hope some who are tempted to post here, anything unrelated to an image of their system would, in future, consider the proper forum - NOT THIS ONE!!!!

So, here's an offer... if someone wants to flag said posts to me, I could move them to the proper place.

Hate to continue my rant but it'd be easier to flag the few posts that do belong than the plethora that don't.

Maybe there's a software method to filter everything with an image attachment and keep it here, and move everything else to a new subforum - "A place to post anything that can't be categorized".

Hardly worth the time... those don't need moving!

Unfortunately, there are a lot of posts with pictures which aren't necessarily pictures of "My OutBack Power System"... screen shots, power graphs, etc. Maybe this all falls under the category of "careful what you wish for...".

I hate to nitpick, Mike, but there's nothing in the name of the forum (My Outback Power System) about images. Granted, maybe the name of the forum should have been more specific from the get-go, but as it is, it's just turned into a catch-all.... But hey, here's one:

Nice - I see your battery box vent on the left margin.

Unfortunately, the image reference is in the subtitle for this forum category, and it's not prominent enough for most to notice. No biggie, I'll get over it someday

Very well done, and a block diagram to boot!

And the before pix also shows an attention to detail as well!
