PS1 for 24 volt use?

Post by billvon »

I didn't see a PS1 forum so I thought I would ask here -

I currently have a system with a GTFX2524, an MX60 and a rack of telecom VRLA batteries. The batteries are nearing the 10 year mark, and I'm looking at moving the installation outside in a PS1 enclosure with a smaller battery bank.

-Can you get the PS1 without inverter/charge controller?

-Can it accommodate a 24 volt bank? (I assume this is just one more breaker and/or increased DC wire gauges)
