FX3048T dead

I have an FX3048T that was working good,and then just went dead. No lights on,just dead. Checked AC and DC to it,and both good ,I was only using it to run a pole light and keep the battery charged on all these cloudy days. I opened it up and it looks like new,can't find anything bad or fried .Any Idea which board usually goes bad ? Is there a place to send them to that repairs them?

Do you have a Mate on the system? If so, make sure the inverter is turned on.

For repairs by Outback go to https://www.outbackpower.com/resources/ ... procedures. You need to start the RMA process and then send it in to Tempe or Phoenix, Arizona. Fortunately, I live three hours away and dropped off a FM80 last week that needed a firmware update.

If it is truly dead (and even if turned OFF would have at least Battery LED indicators), you might also check in with these folks: https://www.zonnaenergy.com/ I've not used them, but they are a potential resource.

For a unit to just "go dark" without any attendant external event causing it suggests a failure of the Control Board.

Is the FM60 functional? Can the battery voltage (OUT VOLT) be read from its front panel?

Does the system have a Hub?

No hub. Yes the FM60 works good,I have 2800w of solar .Just got the mate a couple of weeks ago ,so I could use the inverter to charge battery ,and it was working good.Too many sunless days this winter. Now it just died ,and all I can do is keep my battery charged with solar, until I fix the inverter. Have any of you tried a cheapo inverter that lasted ?

The Mate draws power from the device its connected to. If the inverter has no power, the Mate won't either.

Was voltage measured directly at the inverter's battery terminals?

Yep, first thing I did was check voltage at inverter-53.4 volts DC and 121 volts AC (from grid), I tested everything I could .
