VFX series inverters and Simpliphi

Post by bluespur »

Can I use a VFX series inverter with Simpliphi batteries, or do I require a VFXR? If so, which settings are the limitation?
Thanks

The biggest shortcomings with the FX/VFX series inverters is the limited Low Battery Cut Off (LBCO) voltage range, and the lack of a High Battery Cut Off parameter.

If a FLEXnet DC battery monitor is added to the setup, it's metering and AUX port can be used to provide those parameters to control the inverters in battery low voltage / high voltage events.
