Re: Something is wrong with the config events

I went to 1.4.6 this morning, and the config changes have stopped for now. I'll continue to monitor, but this may have started back around when yours was reported. I started having issues with it 'ignoring' Quiet Period around 3/24. This also seems to pop up near the Azure outages, so I don't know i...

Re: Something is wrong with the config events

Did you get an answer regarding the cause? My Mate3s is experiencing a similar issue over the past two days; Config changes attributed to 'On-Site', often to settings outside allowed ranges. For example: Config Home Radian COMM M Sell Current Limit 30 0 AAC On-Site 04/04/2021 08:23 Config Home Radia...

Quiet time not working correctly?

So prior to the OpticsRe/Azure outage, my quiet time settings worked correctly. Now I get this: Generator Stopped for Weekday Quiet Time. Measured Battery Voltage 50.8VDC. My QT settings are: Weekday Start: 21:00 Weekday Stop: 07:00 Weekends are the same. Suggestions? Footnote: during the OpticsRe/A...

Re: Request for Optics RE display improvement

As a usability exercise, I just emulated changing the Absorb voltage on the charger of the #2 inverter in my system. From the Summary screen, the following touch path is required in the existing application: (For those following along from 1990, a "touch" can be considered a "mouse c...

Re: Request for Optics RE display improvement

David, For a multi-inverter or multi-charge controller environment, it could take you to the 'master' or first in line of each type. My UI feedback would be the need to change pages, then select devices, particularly when I can then change devices in the top of the config screen. This is followed by...

Re: Request for Optics RE display improvement

There's already a layer of security; the confirmation pop-up after hitting apply. Any change is a three step process already, after getting to the right screen.

I'm suggesting we make it easier to get to the right screen.

Request for Optics RE display improvement

On the main 'Dashboard' panel is a 'Power Flow' diagram. It would be helpful to simply click the inverter, charge controller, etc., and go to that device (or at least device #1 of that type), rather than jumping to 'Device Map' and then individual devices. The same type of functionality could be add...

Re: AGS Shutdown?

It shutdown this morning. I'm presuming it was a combination of the absorb time and the high cut-out charge level. I reduced both.

I'm figuring out this GS8048A.

I'd prefer no absorb cycle, is that feasible?

Absorb is 1 hour, all others are 0 hour.

It actually stopped charging and I monitored for an hour just in case.

Re: AGS Shutdown?

Two wire start, and I presume the inverter is holding it. The generator has run this way for a while with a Schneider AGS. Cut the circuit and the genny starts a managed shutdown.

If I change the AGS from auto to off, the relay is cut and the genny shuts down.

AGS Shutdown?

New Radian GS8048A installed, and AGS starts the generator without issue.

Why doesn't it shutdown after it finishes charging?

Re: FM80 - Adjusting the charge voltage

I know the capacity, what is variable is the current levels which vary throughout the day. This is a live battery bank supporting my home. It runs a refrigerator, freezer, TVs, air conditioning, etc. My battery levels cycle throughout the day, which is why it's so important to insure I understand wh...

Re: FM80 - Adjusting the charge voltage

Enough charge current must be put into the battery to make the voltage rise. At this point, it doesn't look like the PV array/charge controller is delivering sufficient quantity of current in total, but what that total is has not been specified. How much total charge is required to fully charge the...

54 80%
52 70%
50 60%
48 50%
46 40%

Re: FM80 - Adjusting the charge voltage

The charge will vary with the discharge, so that's hard to answer. The capacity on this new bank is 240ah. I'll be expanding if it works well. Since we can't get more than 51-52V out of the panels, we've been using the genny to take her up to 57.4V nightly. She's usually around 51/52V when the MPPT ...
