OutBack only recommends up to 8GB SD cards for the MATE3S. This is mentioned briefly in section M-2 of the programming guide for data logging.

Hi Raysun, partial update here. Our last test with an SDHC card (Kingston SCHC class 4) was successful. We should have capacity to test SDHC again on firmware 1.4.3 next week.

Hey Mike! Yes, the FM100 AFCI has an updated arc fault detection system. It is PVRSE listed with IMO FireRaptors, which OutBack sells, and with Tigo's TS4-S and TS4-F devices. We have ongoing tests with Tigo on their other devices, as well.

Raysun is correct about the FM60 and the FM80.

Fortunately, the FM100 does not have this issue! Even tested to failure, it will limit current to no more than 100.5 amps output, including margin of error.

When installed with 7,000 W of PV or less, under warranty, it never exceeds 100.1 amps.

Happy to report we started the project to update this manual last month. We are taking the time to do it right, but it should be published in the coming weeks!
